1) Which building typology are you researching?
-The building typology that I chose to research is a hotel/casino and possibly a club on the lower level.

2) Why are you researching this building typology?
- I am researching this building type because  hotel/casinos have always been big attractions for many people not only tourist. A club or a lounge as another addition would only make staying there more appealing.

3) What is the specialty of this building type you would like to research?
-The specialties for this building would be the casino and the club itself. along with other all the other special amenities that are usually in hotels. such as pools, jacuzzis etc.

4) What are the examples that you will be researching? list examples, location and architect.

The ballagio hotel/casino- Las Vegas
  Mandalay bay hotel/casino- Las Vegas
Mgm grand hotel/casino- Las Vegas
wynn and encore hotel/casino- Las Vegas
city center hotel/casino - Las Vegas
Monte carlo hotel/casino- Las Vegas
here are some floor plans to get a basic concept of the inner workings of my hotel/casino

These examples would show that I would like to incorporate some type of core or all parts of the building meeting somewhere not specifically in the center.

5) What are your goals for working with this building type?
-My goals for working on this building are to come up with a functional and fluid design. the design must go along with the times as well. so a modern or even futuristic look would be another goal for the building.

6) What are your goals for working with this building type?
- the casino being the main attraction would be the main element in the building. the clubs and pools are extras for those who do not wish to gamble. the rooms will have an upper class feel to them so there is a sense of equality in the building as well.
